STEP 1: QUALITY INSPECTION

The first step in the insurance process is to perform a Quality System Inspection. Here, we will closely inspect the home and the exterior system, including all of its components and accessories, for deficiencies and damages. Damages and failures of the system will be documented, photographed, and shared with you, the homeowner, so that you can make a better, more informed decision, about your home’s repairs.

STEP 2: CONTACTING YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER

If the exterior system has qualifying damages, such as hail impacts, wind damages, or has been compromised by other storm related damage- your Insurance Provider will need to be contacted and a Claim will need to be created to continue with the restoration process. Remember, Insurance carriers are prohibited by law, from raising your rates due to filing a claim, caused by and “Act of God”.

STEP 3: ADJUSTER'S APPOINTMENT

After the claim has been filed, your Insurance Provider will assign an Insurance Adjuster to inspect your property for the reported damages. Not all Insurance Adjusters are qualified construction experts exterior system components. It is very important to have a Knowledgeable, Reputable, and Professional Contractor present during this inspection, as 70% of all filed claims are greatly underpaid by Insurance Carriers at the initial approval of the claim.

STEP 4: DOCUMENTATION REVIEW WITH CLIENT

After the claim has been approved by your Insurance Provider, you will be issued a “Loss Summary” by the assigned Adjuster. This document contains important information about material types and quantities present on your home, at the time of the Inspection. This summary should include the listing of ALL items damaged, and necessary for the correct and proper repair of your property. Your Restoration Professional will review these documents with you, and help you understand your claim in its entirety. During this in person review, you and your Restoration Professional will create a plan for conducting your property restoration.

STEP 5: PRE-RESTORATION CONSULTATION

Prior to the reconstruction of your damaged property, your Restoration Professional will assist you in selecting the BEST components for your exterior system, and help map out the best schedule for this restoration, to better fit your needs and your schedule.

STEP 6: REBUILDING YOUR HOME

After you and your Restoration Professional have decided on material types and color selections, the restoration of your property will be conducted. After removing the existing damaged components, your property will be thoroughly inspected again for any unseen or hidden damages that may need to be addressed with the Insurance Carrier. If no such issues arise, your property will be restored to a Pre- Loss Condition by our expert construction professionals.

STEP 7: FINAL INSPECTION AND CLOSING THE CLAIM

After the construction is completed and all left-over construction debris and materials have been removed from the property, your Restoration Professional will conduct a Final Construction Walk Through with you, to better ensure that all items and issues have been resolved; ensuring that you are satisfied with the end result, and that your property is completely restored to Like New condition.

Once the Final Construction Walk Through is complete, and the Final Walkthrough Approval has been issued by you, the homeowner- your Restoration Professional will send photos and documents to your Insurance Provider, detailing the completed construction, so that your claim file can be closed by your Insurance Provider. The first time that we called Nick to have him inspect the roof, he showed up the next day and had his ladder up on the roof by the time we arrived, already taking photos of and marking up areas of roof damage.
